How do I care for a solid oiled oak Moon table?
Oil the table once or twice a year, or whenever the wood looks dry. If the grain has risen, sand it lightly with 240-grit sandpaper along the grain. Then dampen a cloth with oil, spread it evenly over the whole surface along the grain, wipe off the excess with a clean, dry cloth, and let the surface dry for 10 to 20 minutes.
Treatment of the wooden top is done by a professional or at your own risk, and serious damage should always be repaired by a professional. All the steps are in our care guide for solid wood.
