Which GUBI products are made for outdoor use?
The Atmosfera, Carmel and Tropique collections are made for outdoor use. So are the outdoor versions of Bat, Beetle, C-Chair, Copacabana, Epic, F-Chair, Grace, MR01 Initial, P3, Pacha, Satellite and TS, which have "Outdoor" in the product name, and the GUBI 3D Dining Chair, Counter Stool and Bar Stool with a plastic shell and a Matt Black sledge base.
Basket, Bohemian 72, the Grace Lounge Chair and the Bagdad Portable, Multi-Lite Portable, Obello Portable and Seine Portable lamps suit both indoor use and covered outdoor spaces. The rest of the range is made for indoor use.
Can the Beetle Dining Chair be used outdoors?
No, the Beetle Dining Chair is made for indoor use. For outdoor use we make the Beetle Outdoor Dining Chair, which has a plastic base and no upholstery. It comes in Alabaster White or New Beige.
Does the outdoor Pacha Lounge Chair swivel?
Yes, and only as a swivel - the outdoor Pacha is not made in a fixed version. It swivels 360 degrees and does not have the return function.
Do the Pacha modules come with the loop?
The sofa modules do, indoor and outdoor, as standard. The lounge chairs do not.
How should I treat the teak on my outdoor furniture?
Teak needs no treatment. Its natural oils stay in the wood, so it can be left outside, uncovered and untreated, all year round, and it fades to an even silver-grey patina. To keep the honey-gold tone instead, apply oil or a sealant once a year.
Clean it along the grain with a soft brush or cleaning pad and mild soapy water, rinse with lukewarm water and let it dry. Do not pressure-wash teak. All the steps are in our care guide for solid wood.
Does GUBI outdoor furniture come with a rain cover?
No, covers are sold separately. GUBI makes covers for the Grace Outdoor Lounge Chair, the Pacha Outdoor Lounge Chair and the Pacha Outdoor Ottoman. There is no GUBI cover for the rest of the outdoor range.
Can I get spare parts for this collection?
We do not publish which spare parts exist for a particular product, so this page cannot tell you whether one is available for yours. The spare parts page in our webshop (gubi.com/en/dk/categories/accessories/spare-parts) is the current list, and within the EU you can order from it directly. For a part that is not shown there, for example a shade, a cord or a switch, our order team (order@gubi.com) confirms what can be supplied; they need the product name and a description of the part.
