Why does the travertine on my Epic table look different from the one I saw?
White travertine varies naturally. Golden, beige and creamy hues run through the stone, and the pattern is different in every slab. No two Epic tables are identical.
How do I remove adhesive or tape marks from an Epic quartzite table?
- Start gently. A soft cloth with a pH-neutral stone cleaner, or mild soap and water. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon - they etch the stone.
- For adhesive residue. A little denatured alcohol or mineral spirits on a soft cloth. Test an inconspicuous area first.
- If the mark persists. A professional stone restoration service can sand and re-coat the surface.
Avoid tape and stickers on natural stone. Where tape cannot be avoided, use low-tack painter's tape and remove it promptly.
Is the stone on my Epic table sealed?
Yes. Epic tops in marble and travertine are treated and sealed with a protective coating that helps protect the stone and extends the life of the table. If you would like to give the top additional treatment, for example with a sealer, have it done by a professional. Additional treatment is at your own risk.
