Material and finish samples come in two forms: digital references you can download now, and physical samples ordered through order@gubi.com.
Digital samples
High-resolution images and material specifications are available in the Digital Showroom. The full fabric and leather range is browsable at upholstery.gubi.com, organised by material type: basic, chenille, velvet, structured, leather, fur, outdoor and vinyl.
Check suitability first
Not every material can be used on every product. At upholstery.gubi.com, select the product model and only the materials suitable for it are shown. See Fabric suitability — which materials work with which products.
What physical samples exist
- Fabric and leather swatch cards, one per material in the range
- Fabric hangers by material family - basic, velvet, chenille, bouclé, structured, outdoor, leather and sheepskin
- Material sample sets per collection, showing the finishes that collection is made in
- Dedicated material sets for marble, travertine, wood and steel
- A material sample box
All of these can be ordered by GUBI partners and by members of the Trade Program.
Ordering physical samples
Contact order@gubi.com with the materials you are interested in and the product they are intended for. Availability varies by supplier and material type.
There is no quantity limit on a sample request, and no lead time separate from the order itself. Samples ship under the same delivery terms and to the same addresses as any other order - see Shipping destinations and restrictions.
What samples cost
Swatch cards are from 5 EUR for partners and material sample sets from 16 EUR, excluding VAT. Prices are in the current price list.
If you are enrolled in the Trade Program
Sample ordering for design projects is included in the Trade Program for architects and interior designers, covering swatch cards and material sample sets alike. See The Trade Program for architects and designers.
If you are supplying your own material
A sample of your own fabric or leather follows the COM/COL process rather than this one. You submit a 100 cm × 100 cm test sample for written Suitability Approval before an order can proceed, and a testing fee may apply. See Customer's Own Material or Leather (COM/COL) — Professional customer.
